A coniferous tree of the cypress family, which includes many varieties, such as Itoigawa and Kishu, of Chinese and Japanese origin, the most suitable for bonsai cultivation due to their dense foliage. It likes direct sunlight and infrequent watering.
It adapts well to all climates and is the most used species to start working on bonsai, thanks to its ease of manipulation.

This specimen of Itoigawa variety juniper joined our collection in 2024. It is a truly attractive plant thanks to its trunk, where live veins intertwine with eye-catching deadwood sections.
