WHITE PINE
Pinus Parviflora
Also known as Pentaphylla Pine or Five-Needle Pine due to its characteristic of having foliage formed by clusters of five needles. This plant, native to Japan, is widely used for creating beautiful bonsai thanks to the very soft effect of its needles. Being a mountain pine, in summer it likes to be protected in partial shade.
This grove was created in the 1980s for an edition of Euroflora in Genoa, the most famous floriculture exhibition of that time. The plants are in harmony and positioned in such a way that observing this composition gives the sensation of being in a corner of the woods.
