Franchi Bonsai is happy to present the First Basic Course for Beginners held by Maestro Francesco Santini, a complete and engaging training course designed for those who wish to approach the art of bonsai with solid theoretical and practical foundations. The lessons will take place at the Natruart Village at Pistoia, in Toscana Street 101, a place immersed in nature, ideal for learning this fascinating discipline.
What Does the Basic Bonsai Course Include
The course is organised into Four evening lessons, on Mondays from 21:00 to 23:00, on the following days:
27 October;
3 November;
10 November;
17 November.
With an investment of 200 euros, the course comprises:
● A package with all four lessons (8 hours in total);
● The constant support and practical advice of Bonsai master;
● Isola Bonsai tree of the value of 120 euros for the work
● Certificate of attendance finale
The course is in Restricted numberA minimum of 15 and a maximum of 20 participants, to ensure a personalised and high-quality experience.
Course programme
Lesson 1 – Bonsai Basics
Theory History of bonsai, starting materials, botanical principles, watering, fertilising and exposure, notes on diseases. Practice: observation and analysis of plants for work.
Lesson 2 – Styles and Tools
Theory Bonsai styles, pruning techniques, essential tools.
Practice: Plant allocation to participants, cleaning and initial processing.
Lesson 3 – Design and Pruning
Theory spinning technique.
Practice: Individual plant design, guided pruning with instructor support.
Lesson 4 – Modelling and Future Care
Practice: Bonsai wiring and shaping.
Theory Post-processing work programming, repotting and future maintenance.
