Hunting for Perseids

Under the stars at Naturart Village with the A. Pieri Association of Monsummano

Experience the magic of the evenings at San Lorenzo al Naturart Village with an evening dedicated to observing the Perseids, the most famous meteor shower of the year.

Thanks to the absence of moonlight, conditions will be ideal for admiring shooting stars and observing the summer sky. Accompanied by the experts from the’A. Pieri Association of Monsummano, participants will discover the origin of meteor showers, learn to recognise the main constellations of the season – such as Swan, Lira and Aquila, which form the famous Summer Triangle – and they will be able to observe, through the association's telescopes, some fascinating deep-sky objects.

To make the most of the experience, we recommend bringing a blanket to lie on the grass and enjoy meteor watching, as well as mosquito repellent.
