Official presentation of the “Pure Aroma” variety”

To mark the start of the Rose Festival, from 10.30 am to 11.00 am, Naturart Village will host an event celebrating the creation of a new variety of this flower, developed especially for our rose garden.

A symbolic and evocative ritual that unites research, passion, and natural beauty. The christening represents the concluding act of a long process of hybridisation, where a new Rose will finally be presented to the public.

The star of the meeting will be the variety “Pure Aroma”, developed by Pheno Geno and presented by the breeder Biljana Bozanic, which will accompany participants in discovering its characteristics and the journey that made its creation possible.

Masterclass by Carlo Pagani

From 11:00 to 12:00, in the Village conference room, there will be a fascinating journey through time, exploring the deep connection between humans and roses. From the earliest cultivation to the transformations brought about by different civilisations, a story spanning over 5000 years of culture, symbolism, and botanical knowledge.

The lecture will be given by Carlo Pagani, “Master Gardener”, a long-time contributor to the magazine Gardenia and author of numerous publications dedicated to the world of greenery.
