ELM
Ulmus Parvifolia

It suits well both in the sun and in the penumbra and has a generous vegetative stimulus. Depending on its area of origin in the winter may lose all or part of the leaves.
Another elm of considerable size. It is a tree that adapts well to our climate and is easy to grow. In the autumn has intense colors tending to orange to yellow.

OLIVE
Olea Europaea
Fruit tree native to Asia minor and Syria. Robust plant that adapts well to different soil types: calcareous-clayey. If well cultivated and manured it produces its fruit, even in bonsai cultivation.
It is the plant with which the Franks began its history as a manufacturer of bonsai. Essence robust and typical of our area, is a plant that we recommend to all to start.
One of the bonsai more details of our collection. It is called the “dragon,” because in the central part you can make out a figure of animal, and for this reason has taken this name.
A particularly interesting is that at one time the plant was exposed on a table very low, leaving only the children the chance to catch a glimpse of the strange animal. Adults, by looking at the bonsai from the top, could not see what the kids noticed. Once you have discovered the mystery, it was enough to raise the plant to see all the “the dragon”.

An exemplary very old, strong and elegant. As all the essences deciduous, it shows the best of herself in the winter, when in the absence of leaves, you can see the structure of the branches.

PINO SILVESTRE
Pinus Sylvestris
Also known as pine of Scotland, lends itself to the cultivation of bonsai. The plant is not afraid of the cold, and in summer it prefers a sunny exposure. Don't like watering too frequently.
We are facing a mature plant from the dense vegetation and a needle particularly short, has a beautiful balance of force in the whole of the green part.
A bonsai is 100% Italian and for over 40 years Francs bonsai takes care of his training.
It was exhibited at the first congress bonsai national in 2017.

ZELKOVA
Zelkova Serrata

A composition on a sheet of zelkova is the most beautiful in autumn when each of these plants change color by taking shades, each one different. It goes from red to green, orange, yellow or bronze. A true palette of colors where each plant has a say.
